How can there be soooo much in one weekend?

When we have been reading about other schools and cities to live one thing we have read about some of the places is....it is quiet here ....not much to do.....I think Tunisia had this description.

And here, well, we are spoiled.

There is always so much to do, it is kind of overwhelming.

Take last Saturday for example. We had our curricular day, we were also invited to a cook out, our neighbor also was having a cookout, there was an art festival on our street (where our friend and neighbor was selling quiche), there was a free reggae concert in the outdoor theater, there were the finals of the salsa championship, and two separate co-workers were having a birthday party at, one at a disco tech with live music and another at a pub with a live band.
